No Official Hardeman 24-Hour Feed
The Hardeman County Sheriff's Office has no verified page that continuously lists releases from the prior 24 hours. Its official Booking Reports page instead links a changing, month-to-date iSOMS document. The sheriff says those reports are updated weekly and sorted by name. Each report covers all agencies, so a person arrested by a local police department may still appear when the booking took place at the Hardeman County Criminal Justice Complex.
This distinction controls what can be claimed. A populated Release Date/Time can establish that one CJC booking episode ended before the document was printed. The report is not a live roster, and it is not an official list labeled “released today.” A blank release field means only that no release was recorded for that row by the report's print time. It may be stale by the time someone reads it.
Check Hardeman 24-Hour Releases
A defensible same-day check treats the timestamp on the official report as the endpoint. It does not use the time on a phone or computer as if the PDF were live. Keep each intake and release pair together, since one person can have more than one booking episode in a month. - Call CJC Booking at 731-228-3016 for changes that occurred after printing or when a release field is blank.
For one named person whose county report entry is missing or no longer online, use the broader search and records route on the Hardeman County released inmates page. A prior-month booking will not normally appear in the new month's cohort, even though the underlying agency record may still exist.

Hardeman 24-Hour Release Fields

Classification does not prove a court outcome. Nor does a later court date explain the exact release method. If the reason was bond, a court order, time served, transfer, or another authority, ask for the release record and check the court file. A departure to TDOC, another county, federal authorities, or immigration custody ends the CJC episode without proving a return to the community.
Hardeman Release Print-Time Quirks
The month-to-date design produces an unusual mix. Released entries remain next to rows with blank release fields, and completed timestamps can stay visible until the month changes. This can preserve a recent county release better than a live roster that drops a name. Yet the weekly update cycle also creates a blind period between the event and the next published version.

Hardeman Release Apps Are Unverified
The sheriff's Useful Links page promotes MobilePatrol and VINELink, while a newer official-branded sheriff app advertises public-safety news and tip reporting. None of the verified descriptions promises a Hardeman jail roster, a 24-hour release view, or release alerts for the county jail. An app result should therefore be treated as a lead, not substituted for the sheriff report or a call to Booking.
The official PDF remains the verified online county channel that pairs an image with intake facts and a Release Date/Time field. Tennessee VINE is confirmed for TDOC, but Hardeman CJC participation was not independently confirmed. A missing app or VINE result cannot establish that a person was never booked, remains confined, or has been released.

A focused request should provide the person's name, an approximate intake range, and the booking number if known. Ask for admission and release dates and times, the recorded release type or authority, and the receiving agency if transferred. Request electronic copies and a cost estimate before chargeable work. The county's general public-records policy expressly excludes sheriff records, so do not assume its general fee table or form controls HCSO requests. They do not cover releases from Hardeman County Correctional Facility or Whiteville Correctional Facility, which are state prisons in the same county. For either prison, use TDOC FOIL, Tennessee VINE, TDOC release documentation, and the assigned community-supervision office. FOIL can show incarcerated, parole, probation, or inactive status for current or former Tennessee felony offenders.
A released person is not reliably found on a current-custody roster. County release evidence is the populated timestamp or requested record. State release evidence comes from TDOC status and release documents. Federal and immigration tools apply only when the county or court record points to those systems. A court disposition can explain the legal outcome but may not prove the exact minute jail staff completed physical release.
Identity checks also protect against a false same-day match. Compare the middle name, city, sex, race, intake date, arrest agency, and charge context shown for the entry. Administrative details can contain mistakes, so no single trait should control. If a name appears twice, start with the intake that fits the question and keep its release timestamp with that row. A later booking means the earlier release does not describe the person's current state. When available, a booking number or court docket is a stronger anchor than spelling alone.
